It took me until now to realize it, but I bet you that "he's aiming for the torches" means that they're making themselves easy targets by carrying torches around, rather than Odysseus shooting the torches to turn out the lights.

we now have more information on songs 21 and 22 which I think we can use to find out what tiresias' prophecies were referring to so spoilers for thunder and final saga!!!!! Song 21 is called suffering and is a duet between "penelope" and Odysseus so I think this what "song of past romance" is referring to. Then there's sacrifice of man which I am now more convinced is referring to scylla since it is placed between song of past romance and "Portrayals of betrayal and a brother's final stand" which obviously referring to mutiny although euralychus' voice is apparently in thunderbringer so the brother's final stand might also be referring to that. "I see you on the brink of death" I think is referring to Odysseus' ship getting destroyed and him drifting off to calypso's island. "I see you draw your final breath" don't know what this one is referring to maybe it's just Odysseus death sometime after the events of epic Idk "I see a man who gets to make it home but it's no longer you" Referring to the ithaca saga maybe more specifically song 38 "I see your wife with a man who is haunting" probably song 40 Sorry if I got any of this information wrong. Also I commented this on your video because you talk about what tiresias' prophecies could mean and I thought I'd give my thoughts.

personally I think it works for both, where Teresius (spelling?) sees the past and the future so his prophecys work on both levels, which also explains why he sings that part twice. its both his past and his future. meanwhile the palace paved in red part it only gets said once because it DOSENT apply to multiple events
